"This is the only surviving BMW out of 7 used in the Fast and Furious 4 Movie," reads the seller's note. "It has a roll cage interior with a drifting brake. I also have the Fast and furious 4 story board for the Dom and Brian race scene 72. The car is orange with graphite trunk, hood and roof. Eye candy for car enthusiast."
Vin Diesel explains that he returned after a two film hiatus because "I saw how people related to the characters' stories as much as the cars and action." Really? Are you sure about that? As for Paul Walker, his reasoning isn't as sophisticated. "Who doesn't like fast cars and hot women?" And he adds that, "this isn't Shakespeare, so we don't take ourselves too seriously." Hopefully that attitude will result in a film as good as the first. I hate to say it, but Fast and Furious looks like a dumbed down, unstylized version of Death Race. I'd suggest you take an interest in that film far before this one.
The roll-caged interior is barebones with supportive race seats and simple gauges set in a carbon-fiber dash. Vickers kept a consistent look throughout the masterpiece vehicle, using flat paints or bare metals and rhino-coating the trunk and matching toolbox. He paid homage to the Fast Franchise and his Roadrunner's stunt car heritage while building a tuned pro-tourer. The end product is a furious race-ready and highly driveable Mopar muscle car. The Torettos would be proud.
Fast cars and furious driving take to the screen again when Vin Diesel and Paul Walker reprise their roles as Dominic Toretto and Brian O'Connor. This time the ex-con and the agent are forced to bury the hatchet and team up in order to capture a common enemy.
The Fast & Furious franchise has captivated movie-going audiences for years with fast cars and death-defying stunts. In addition to the explosive chase sequences and racing that the films offer, the films have produced characters beloved by fans.
According to the first movie, the Charger can go a quarter-mile in only nine seconds flat. This is an incredibly fast speed, as it would mean the car was going somewhere between 140 and 150 miles per hour to make that distance in such a short amount of time.
In the shots of the Charger in Dom's garage, audiences see a Hemi racing engine mounted in the front of the vehicle. This supercharged engine was a beast, rumored to have 900 horsepower and a 250 shot nitrous. Its power added to the plausibility of how fast the Charger could really go.
March ended on a good note and helped 2015 maintain its lead over 2014 thanks to a trio of $100 million movies: Cinderella, Insurgent, and Home. April isn't as strong as far as depth goes, as only Furious 7 is expected to come close to $100 million at the box office. On the positive side, it could earn $100 million during its opening weekend, becoming the fastest starting film of the year, so far. On the negative side, it is expected to earn more than double the rest of the films' combined box office totals. Even worse, last April, there were two $100 million hits, including Captain America: The Winter Soldier, as well as two others that came close. There's no way April 2015 is going to live up to April 2014. I just hope the collapse isn't so bad that 2015 loses its lead over 2014 completely.
